Zettelkasten

A note taking method for building a knowledge graph and exploring connected ideas. Attributed to German sociologist Niklas Luhmann. Originally used index cards in a box and sequential IDs on the cards used to reference them for connections. Modern digital implementations usually utilize a database of connections to lookup connections and turn links into backlinks to more easily explore the knowledge graph.
